Purple Smokey Eye Tutorial _ BeTrendSpired

Creating the perfect eyeshadow is all about the tools you choose and the techniques you use. Before you start a makeup look come up with a game plan and just go with it. Don't be afraid to take chances!

QUICK TIP! -- Eyeshadow Base

Starting with a good base is going to set you up for success! An eyeshadow base will make your eyeshadows easier to blend, it will make them more vibrant, and they will last longer.

- My favorite eyeshadow base is MAC Cosmetics Painterly paint pot. It conceals any discoloration on your eyelid and has the perfect amount of grip which allows your eyeshadows to stick to your eye and still be able to blend perfectly.  Sometimes my eyeshadow will still have a tendency to crease with just painterly, so if I have a long day or night ahead of me I will apply Nars Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base underneath Painterly to ensure the longevity of my eyeshadow.
